A new inbound trade mission with architects and interior designers from Latin America

During the past week a group of 21 leading Latin American architects and interior designers shared experiences with Prodema and other companies that are part of Cluster Habic, during a new inbound trade mission organized by the latter.

Professionals from Chile, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay and Costa Rica, along with Hunter Douglas Latam specification managers –as Prodema’s representatives in the first four countries mentioned–, enjoyed a working day on Wednesday at our headquarters in which was made a presentation on the different exteriors and interiors projects that Prodema has around the world and emphasizing in parcticular on presenting the latest developments in the range of interiors..

Some of the architects had previously worked with Prodema in exteriors installations and many showed great interest in the range of interiors and, especially, in our SUPRA floors.

The visit ended with a tour through the production plant where the attendees learned first-hand about the production process of natural wood panels.

In the afternoon, a meeting was organized between the Latin American visitors and their Basque counterparts in the Tabakalera Building in San Sebastian where two different talks were delivered by the Peruvians René Poggione and Susan Elsa Biondi from the studio Poggione + Biondi and the Chilean Gonzalo Mardones from the studio Gonzalo Mardones & Asociados. The local architects who exchanged experiences with their American colleagues were Xabier Barrutieta, Juan Beldarrain, Pedro Astigarraga, Adrián Cuadros and Juanjo Arrizabalaga.

As a culmination to this productive day, attendees could enjoy a dinner at a Gastronomic club in San Sebastian to get to know more closely one of the emblems of Basque culture..
